A fantastic inn tucked away just off Main Street, perfectly quiet. No problems at all.

The location was great, the beds comfy and the place very quiet. The parking lot felt a bit cramped, but for Carmel it was still a relief to have any parking available.

The room looked nice and the bed was comfortable. I was told by a staff member to park on the street and given a permit, yet I still received a parking ticket; the permit didn’t mention hours or the need to move the car, and the communication from Simon was terrible. On the second night I couldn’t adjust the room temperature because someone had locked the thermostat, so I woke up to a very cold room.

The rooms had been recently renovated, not just painted, with brand‑new interiors. We stayed in a Deluxe King Studio that was spacious, well laid out, and had plenty of storage and amenities. The only downside was the noise early on Columbus Day (Monday) morning—delivery trucks, garbage trucks, and the like made it hard to sleep, but that’s just downtown Carmel.
