The Hawes Inn by Innkeeper's Collection, Queensferry, overlooks the Firth of Forth railway bridge, 20 minutes' drive from Edinburgh's historic city centre. Many rooms feature river views and iconic Forth Road Bridge views. A country pub and restaurant with log fire and beer garden serves local dishes. Nearby attractions include Deep Sea World aquarium and Bedlam Paintball Edinburgh, with 2 golf courses within 5 miles.

The hotel offers private outdoor parking, which makes logistics a breeze, and it’s a pretty nice and pleasant place. The room comes with gel, towels, multiple pillows, coffee, and various extras. The location is good, letting you reach several points of interest quickly. The restaurant menu didn’t convince us enough to try it, but overall the hotel is quite good. One drawback would be improving the room soundproofing.

The view and the coffee were fantastic, and even though you can hear trains from the room, it didn’t bother me at all—I actually enjoyed the sound.

I loved the food, the menu was excellent, the quality was high, and the organic wine was superb. The only issue was weak internet signal.
