The Midtown Hotel, Cologne, is a boutique hotel located in the heart of the city centre, 300 metres from MediaPark Köln and 100 metres from Christophstraße/Mediapark Underground Station. Modern rooms feature homemade furniture, desks, flat-screen TVs, room safes, and high-speed WiFi. A large breakfast buffet is served daily, with nearby bars and restaurants in the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Ring shopping area.

The staff were very friendly, even at breakfast. The beds were good and the design was nice, but it was extremely noisy; it felt like the neighbors were in the room.

The style, staff friendliness, cleanliness, and location were all excellent.

Overall, the stay was decent; the room was clean and as expected, and the staff were friendly. We only stayed one night, but we liked that parking was close by. When I tried tap water, it initially tasted bad, but I realized the cups they gave had a dust layer on them. Also, for 18 € per person, the breakfast could have been better.

The staff were very friendly, especially the top receptionist. We were even able to check in early. The morning coffee was perfect, thanks to the very nice young man. We will come back.
