Campanile Hotel Chantilly

The staff greeted me warmly and were friendly. The bed was comfortable and they offered tea and coffee, and the breakfast was decent. However, the wall paint was peeling, the shower curtain had stains, there was no sink spray bottle, the walls were damaged, and the shelf was worn. The outside noise was noticeable.

The bed was nice and the room was clean. The blinds didn’t close all the way and I hate the light that leaks in 😅.

The location was perfect for visiting the castle, reachable via a beautiful walk along one of the village canals. Check‑in was available until 23:00, the room was comfortable and the bathroom spacious. The nearby services (Carrefour and bakery) were very convenient. The room wasn’t sound‑proof; external noises and those from adjacent rooms were clearly audible, especially the loud car wash nearby that was already running early in the morning. The breakfast, in my opinion, was a bit pricey.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was well‑arranged and generous with fresh items, though it was a bit of a hunt for a clean cup and plate. The hotel is located in an industrial area, definitely not a cozy spot. It’s a motel‑style setting (owned by Campanile). That’s fine in itself, but the exterior of the building already suggested it would never succeed; everything was poorly maintained. The paint was flaking, the stairs were mossy. It gave a bad impression. Inside the room, the curtain was loose and gray. There was dust in the lamps (not a little), everything was worn. The bathroom heating element was flaking and I didn’t even dare use it. The bed was good, and the sheets were clean. A bad experience, I’ll never stay here again, not even for one night.
