Hotel Tiffany, Merano, sits in the verdant Alta Maia district, a 20‑minute stroll from the renowned Merano Spa. Each room boasts a balcony overlooking gardens, the town, or alpine valleys. Guests dine al fresco on the sun terrace when weather allows. The garden hosts an outdoor pool with umbrellas, while the indoor pool offers panoramic mountain windows. Nearby, Trauttmansdorff Castle, Botanic Garden, and Passiria and Lana golf courses provide easy access.

Even though it’s an older property, it met every need: room 34 was spacious with a fantastic view, the grounds were attractive and the pool large. Felice and the breakfast lady were especially helpful, and the breakfast itself was first‑class with a great dining area. We noticed the hotel was fully booked during our visit, proving it’s a popular spot in Merano. The bus stop to Merano is a short walk away, and the hotel even offers a free bus pass.

The location is on the outskirts, quiet and surrounded by greenery, and close to the place we wanted to visit (Castel Trauttmansdorff). The owners and staff were warm and helpful, and the breakfast was very good and varied. Nothing else to add.
