The building was clean and welcoming, and the staff were very friendly – highly recommended. There was also a restaurant and pizzeria with excellent food. Everything was fine.

For the price paid for a single night, the offer was completely acceptable, and the room was clean. However, the hallway outside the room had a strong cigarette smell, and breakfast was a major disappointment: although it was available until 10:00 am, by 9:15 am there was almost nothing left for the two of us, just a single Gipfeli, with no variety at all.

The rooms were clean and spacious, but the hotel is far from town and you need to take a bus to reach the centre.

The air‑conditioning worked well, and the tram/bus stop is just outside, about 25–30 minutes to the city. Check‑in at the restaurant staff was easy. The main problem was the poor sound‑proofing of the door, walls, and window, so you hear everything from the corridor and people coughing at night, and the street outside is busy all night. Minor issues include a shower door that is hard to close, poorly placed or too few power outlets, and a partially blocked water tap. Breakfast is modest Italian‑style, good if you like a lot of sugar.
