Everything was perfect; the arrival instructions were clear, then the gentleman opened the garage doors and drove the car into very narrow alleys. We wanted to cook pasta after a motorcycle breakdown, had rented a car, and needed to leave early the next day. Finally, the lady kindly cooked us a ricotta omelette and a vegetable pie, and we also received bread—exceptional. In the morning, the room had a coffee machine and kettle, and we were given cakes. The gentleman got up early to return the car. Thank you for your hospitality, kindness, and availability.

A charming Baroque room in Modica’s center, with very courteous and helpful owners. The welcome feels like home at Stanze Barocche. A free private garage is also offered, even though getting there is a bit tricky because the city streets are very narrow.

A beautiful room in Modica’s center. The owners were delightful, giving great local tips and offering sweets during our stay. Highly recommended!
