The building is a bit old, but the setting is superb, both for being close to everything in Nairobi and for its beautiful surroundings. There’s very little to complain about; the building is a little old, and a better chair in the rooms would make working at the desk more comfortable.

I stayed in a spacious room with a good bed and a nice bathroom, and the garden and terrace by the forest were beautiful. The only downside was the lack of air conditioning; it wasn’t an issue in October, but it might be in the high summer.

The hotel was clean and well kept. The only drawback was that there was no air conditioning.

The view and surroundings were perfect, the room was clean and the bed comfortable, staff were very friendly and helpful, and I’ll definitely return. The isolation wasn’t great because work was happening in the garden and it was noisy; breakfast was in‑house with limited options, but the staff tried to find good choices for us.
