We had room 12: a deep‑pink, very tasteful and luxuriously decorated space. The four‑poster bed was huge and super comfy. There was a sitting area with a sofa and a chair. The bathroom was large, with a walk‑in shower and a bath. Wi‑Fi was good. Breakfast was included at the price, with both a la carte and buffet options. Parking cost £10 for the stay on the hotel’s car park, subject to availability. The rooms are in the wings of the main building, so there was no noise from parties or celebrations. The hotel is in the city centre, so everything is within walking distance. Nothing else to note.

The dining room’s décor was a hit, and breakfast had an excellent selection. The room was large with a super‑comfortable bed, but there was no comfortable seating; the leather armchairs were covered in heat during a heatwave!

The property is beautiful, close to great shopping and the cathedral. The room was gorgeous and very relaxing, with a super comfy bed! The only slight downside was that it was a warm evening, so the windows were open and when people smoked outside at the smoking point, the smell drifted into the room.
