“Exceptional 6 night solo stay in Siem Reap.”

I was hesitant to book this place for my trip to Siem Reap because reviews were mixed. As soon as I checked in, all my doubts disappeared. The building itself is beautiful, from the main entrance through the lobby where the front desk sits. The surrounding wooden carvings are amazing, making it feel more like a museum than a hotel. I got an upgrade during the low season, and the bed was very comfortable with clean sheets and towels; all the amenities were present. I spent six nights here and couldn’t be more satisfied. The staff were helpful and friendly, the attitude was pleasant, and the overall vibe was welcoming. I felt like a guest, not a customer. P.S. The wooden carving on the bed is a piece of art. On the downside, I think the hotel’s rating is a little low. I was also confused when booking because I couldn’t find the property’s name on Google Maps; it appears under two names: Okay Guesthouse and Okay 1 Villa. It would be better if they were consistent.

“Great value”

The staff responded quickly, were helpful and friendly, and the price was very good value. However, there were missing items: no hand soap, shampoo, or shower gel. The staff did give me hand soap when I asked for it.

The décor is fantastic with many traditional touches. The rooftop pool and relaxation area are very nice, and the entrance and courtyard are beautiful.
