“部屋が広くてよかった。”
The staff seemed genuinely eager to make guests comfortable, which I appreciated, but the building feels outdated and that’s hard to ignore.

The onsen was good and the half‑board offered great value, plus the staff were very friendly and the rooms were spacious; the common areas just need a touch of freshening up.

The staff’s attitude was solid, yet the facilities look old.

The view from the mountain was excellent, the free parking was spacious so getting there by car was very convenient. The front desk staff were friendly and courteous, giving a good first impression. Inside the hotel there were free drinks and free cotton candy that even adults would be excited about, so many pleasant services were provided. After relaxing in the large, clean bath, we headed to the dinner we had been looking forward to. The hearth cooking felt special, and the buffet had a wide variety of dishes that were very tasty! The balance between a calm atmosphere and fun entertainment was perfect, and people of all ages could enjoy it. However, the building’s overall age was striking, and the first impression upon arrival was disappointing. The biggest frustration was the breakfast buffet. With a 7–9 am time limit, when we went over 8 am, about 80 % of the dishes were left empty. After waiting 10 minutes there was no sign of restocking, so we complained, but another 10 minutes passed with no dishes arriving. Also, the free drinks were only available at 15:00 check‑in, so we couldn’t use them in the morning after the bath, which was inconvenient. Perhaps the operation was overwhelmed by full capacity, but considering the cost of just under 90 000 yen for three adults, the satisfaction level was low. It was an unavoidable choice, but I would consider returning.

The price feels too high for what’s offered, even though it’s peak season.
