Alvino Suite And Breakfast sits in Lecce’s historic center, fronting the Roman Amphitheatre and Piazza Sant’Oronzo. The 18th‑century building offers spacious rooms with Salento archways, marble or parquet floors, and handmade wooden furnishings. Air‑conditioned rooms feature flat‑screen TVs, free Wi‑Fi, mini‑fridges, and organic toiletries. Breakfast is served on the ground‑floor bar. The hotel is a five‑minute walk from Lecce Cathedral and surrounded by cafés, shops, and restaurants.

I chose this spot because it’s in the heart of town. The shower was amazing with a generous water flow, and the pasticciotti at Alvino bar were excellent. The room had no windows, so it felt a little prison‑like. The €5 breakfast voucher was too little, and on the last night there was no hot water, forcing me to take a freezing shower—quite unpleasant.

The location was good. For breakfast they give a €5 voucher to use at the downstairs bar, which only covers a tea, coffee, etc., plus a croissant; anything extra costs extra, so it’s a basic breakfast. In the bathtub you have to be careful because it’s slippery; an anti‑slip mat would be helpful.

Very well situated! Spotlessly clean and quiet, even though it’s right in the historic center.

The location is perfect. The mattress was too hard and the air conditioning didn’t work well.
