“We stayed at Turtle Reef Club before and liked it--but given these isisues mentioned above, I do not”

The spot is great and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Jensen Beach is a lovely old Florida resort that we’ve visited many times, but things change and the maintenance and upkeep are problematic as I’ll explain. Work was constantly happening near our condo, with paint splatters everywhere and taped windows. I was told our area wouldn’t be touched by maintenance, yet the locks didn’t work properly. On the first night, after dinner, the lock failed and we had to wait for a maintenance man at 11:30 PM. Management seems aware, and other guests mentioned similar issues. We also caught five or six large roaches during our stay, which was very concerning. The appliances need fine‑tuning and there were no user manuals.

The location and value are fine. The elevator wasn’t working and there were several bedbugs in our unit.

The location is good. The water was rough, so we couldn’t swim.

“It was excellent getaway on the beach”

The place was spotless, quiet, and just a few steps from the beach, which made it lovely and spacious. Having a kitchen was great, and it came stocked with plates, pots, pans, and more. The only downside was the lack of a better seated view; from the first floor you could only see a good view from the kitchen window, but since we were so close to the beach it didn’t really matter.
