The room lived up to its review reputation. Full of very thoughtful design touches and we slept extremely well. The bathroom was absolutey top notch and so spacious. Being located a very, very short walk from a pub which serves food was the icing on the cake. Nothing at all; everything was just about as good as it gets!

Breakfast arrived, and toiletries were included—thanks, even if I didn’t use them. A fridge and microwave felt like a luxury, and the clever clothes‑hanging setup made great use of space. The parking area was large enough to open doors easily, and the location was perfect. I have no complaints—just wish I’d stayed here sooner; we stop in Carlisle on our way back to Scotland all the time.

We appreciated the extra touches like a microwave and cutlery, letting us cook a simple meal without leaving. The entrance was narrow, and the car park a bit small, making turning harder when other cars were in the driveway.

“A delightful place to stay in a very peaceful setting.”

The decor was lovely and the rooms very comfortable, with a cozy bed. Thoughtful additions such as porridge pots and spare toothbrushes were included, and no fittings were skimped on—tiles, lights, linen, all high quality. I felt very welcome, and on‑site parking was a real bonus.
