The place sits in a fantastic spot and the interior feels truly traditional, with delicious food and beautiful nature nearby. The staff are very friendly and attentive, but the bed was not very comfortable and the duvet quality didn’t match the price per night.

The accommodation is amazing and the service is first‑class! It’s perfect for a honeymoon or anniversary. The breakfast is tasty, the location is in a lovely mountain setting, and a short walk takes you to the famous passing place of the Harry Potter train.

The location is great and every staff member was professional, personal, and went above and beyond. However, the bed was very uncomfortable, the mattress was cheap, and the furnishings were very old and outdated. The photos on the site were not an accurate reflection of the hotel.

The staff are lovely, generous with their time and help. The location is nice, and the bar and lounge are enjoyable. The evening meals are superb, and one night the music in the bar was great. The room and bathroom are nice and comfortable, and everything else is good.
