The location is great and parking across the street is a good deal; the balcony overlooks the small plaza nicely. However, the AC in the unit only heats automatically for a fixed time of day that you can’t change or turn off, the room feels old, and on the balcony there were two plastic garden chairs and no table.

The hotel’s location is very close to the marina and Stresa’s center, and the staff’s attention is excellent; the building is a bit old and the shower was missing a phone shower head.
