“Desastre”

Nothing. Everything is noisy, has no sound‑proof windows. Cleaning is absent; bathrooms are extremely dirty, not because of use but because there’s no cleaning service. If you provide a cleaning service, the rooms are dirty, no sheets, the blankets smell bad, and there’s no elevator in the block. I could hire someone to clean, even if it raises the price, as a suggestion since the owner clearly knows the prohibitions and our obligations.

“Worst place in Lissabon”

Nothing. Absolutely. The main issue was the host’s terribly rude and hostile behavior. He threatened to cancel my booking because I hadn’t texted him on WhatsApp and made me beg him not to do so. He was angry, loud, and almost impossible to understand. The kitchen was a mess and broken, and so was the bathroom.

“Great location, had facilities problems.”

The spot was spot‑on for what I needed, and the host let me in whenever I arrived. The room matched the description most of the time, but the hot water never worked—running it for minutes on both hot and cold sides left it freezing cold. Plus, some other guests were noisy at 4 am.
