The caravan itself was fine and of good quality, though the gas fire needed attention. The site was nice, clean, and quiet. The owners were helpful, pleasant, and quick to respond. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the caravan we had booked. The guest book mentioned that other guests had experienced this too. We expected all advertised features – a sea view, sea‑front position, washing machine, large double bed, and spa bath – none of which were present. The owner gave us a different caravan after I asked if the decking was safe for a small dog; he considered it a better option, which was considerate, but we would have booked elsewhere if we’d known. No compensation was offered. There were no sea views on the site because of the sea wall. The booking was confusing because both caravans’ contents were listed and pictured in the same listing.
