Just steps from the best snorkeling beach in Taiwan. Extremely solid bunk beds are a bit high, but not wobbly like some other hostels. A nice variety of common areas

“It’s really close to the pier, but we wouldn’t stay there again.”

Walking distance to the pier is a plus, but the place is filthy, especially the bathrooms and toilets that are moldy and smelly. The cleaning staff don’t do a good job, and there were geckos in the room—if you’re scared of reptiles, this will be a nightmare.

“普通のドミトリー”

The location is great, just about a three‑minute walk from both the harbor and Ishiro Beach, and there’s a stylish café beyond the beach. The shared dryer is handy, though there’s no washing machine so you’ll have to hand‑wash or use the outside coin‑laundromat. A dive shop is also on site. Wi‑Fi is decent in the lobby but weak in the rooms. The second floor hosts a KTV; it wasn’t open when we stayed (no guests were there), but it might get noisy when it’s operating—no idea about soundproofing. The dorms are pricey for a tourist spot, but that’s probably unavoidable.

The spot is close to the port, and the dive shop and motorcycle rental are nearby. The cleanliness could use improvement; the trash bins fill up quickly.
