The place sits in a great spot and feels fresh after a full renovation of the old building, though breakfast doesn’t start until 9:00; on the opposite side there’s a small café for early birds.

The breakfast and lunch at the restaurant were excellent, and the host spoke English very nicely.

Finding the hotel was a breeze, and because we arrived late at night the keys were kindly left in a nearby restaurant; the room itself was stunning and the location was spot‑on.

Lovely host and a great location. The room was comfortable. The restaurant has some really great meal options. It was a bit too noisy at night.
