The two owners were super friendly and made us feel at home, but the shower left a lot to be desired – the water pressure was weak and it dripped constantly. Overall, the hospitality made up for the bathroom hassle.

I had an amazing time there – the setting is gorgeous and the owners are warm and helpful. The place feels like a quiet jungle, with bird songs and occasional monkeys or sloths in the trees, yet it’s still luxurious with comfy beds, a pool, and a lush garden that looks designer. The homemade breakfast was probably the best I’ve ever tasted, and the hosts responded quickly to every request. I’ll definitely be back.

Lou and Théo were fantastic hosts – really kind and welcoming. Their breakfasts were tasty and clearly made with love, which made us feel well taken care of. We felt right at home and will definitely return.

Staying at Vila Mansinha felt like a slice of paradise in Trancoso – the place is even prettier than the photos, spotless and full of charm. It’s close to the Square yet quiet, surrounded by nature, and the room was airy, comfy, and tastefully decorated. We loved the fragrant atmosphere, the breakfast table on the balcony, and the hosts’ attentive, smile‑filled service that made us feel truly at home. Can’t wait to go back.
