Hotel Samba

The location was great, but the hotel was extremely noisy; a lot of young people made noise all night, running through corridors and slamming doors.

The room was fantastic 😊 Breakfast was good, and although the pool wasn’t open for swimming, I didn’t mind and instead enjoyed the nearest beach, which was a blast; overall, the experience was amazing 🥰 ❤️. No issues remembered, except the dining area felt a bit crowded at meal times, but everything else was fine and well taken care of. The staff were excellent, friendly, and always checked on us during breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which was fantastic.

The proximity, cleanliness, and staff were all positives, but parking the vehicle was difficult.

The room was fine, and the location was convenient with walking distance to both the beach and Lloret de Mar city centre. The hotel chose to keep the pool closed for the entire week we were there, citing the weather from the week before; the same applied to the other Samba hotel in the area. What’s odd is that all other hotels in the neighbourhood that we could see had open pools all week, which felt very un‑customer‑friendly and caused a lot of frustration. The sunbeds were also removed from the pool area. You can’t shut it for the season while the hotel is full of guests. Breakfast was terrible. It takes very little to create a decent breakfast, but there were only a few sliced vegetables and fruit, fresh rolls, juice, and coffee of a certain quality. This was the worst hotel breakfast I’ve ever had.

“Mon séjour s’est bien déroulé.”

The welcome, staff, children’s activities, variety of dishes, and cleanliness were all great, but I didn’t like that the halal dishes were placed next to the other dishes.
