The location was top, the breakfast was filling, the common areas were pretty with plenty of seating, the staff were friendly, and the vibe was pleasant; the large pool was a nice place to relax. We just wished there were an extra seat so we could both sit on one chair.

The location was great, the décor authentic, and the overall vibe was simply fantastic. It was sometimes a bit noisy from the restaurant, and the muezzin would call at exactly 5 am right by the bedside; breakfast started at 8:30 am, which was a bit late for us.

The stay at Riad Ben Youssef was simply perfect: a splendid historic palace expertly restored, beautiful in every detail, meticulously clean. The central location is ideal for exploring the Medina on foot. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious. A big bonus is the pool: cool and refreshing, perfect for cooling off during the hot hours and easing fatigue after a day of wandering. The staff are uniquely kind and helpful. Everything was truly amazing, highly recommended!

Thanks for your recommendations and advice upon arrival. Maps.me saved us in the Medina 🙂 and we followed all the tours recorded on the app 👍. The breakfast was exquisite. The room was quiet and clean. The riad is well‑situated and easy to access. The pool was very cool.

The location in the Medina was really good. Was only a few minutes walk from where the taxi had to stop. The manager Hakim was really good from the moment we arrived. Don't forget this is an 18th century property with all its quirks. If you get the balcony room (1 of 6 rooms) there is only 6 inches of space down each side of the bed. So this room could be restrictive for older people. Limited storage in the room. Air- con in the wardrobe leaked unfortunately onto the clothes. Again Hakim was available to sort things out across the board
