Located on Hafnargata, Hotel Keilir is a family-run hotel within 5 minutes' drive of Keflavík International Airport, offering a shuttle service, free Wi-Fi, and parking. Each room features air-conditioning, satellite TV, and a minibar, with some offering views of Faxaflói Bay. The hotel is a 15-minute drive from the Blue Lagoon Geothermal Spa and 4 km from the Viking World Museum.

The sea view from the room was great, and the lady at the desk was celebrating her birthday—so I gave her socks! The only downside was the limited breakfast options.

There is no hair dryer in the room, and the breakfast cannot really be called breakfast: just bread, sausage, cheese, and coffee.

Right on the ocean and wonderful staff. Would have been nice to haven’t making in room but I was easily able to access the facilities in the dining room
