“Minha experiência ficou bem abaixo do esperado.”
The breakfast was decent. Overall, the hotel seems to have potential with a pleasant, welcoming Provençal décor, but it needs more careful and consistent maintenance. The owner told me the place is undergoing renovations, which is understandable. Still, it might be better to open rooms and common areas only after those upgrades finish, so guests don't face so many inconveniences during their stay. I had to change rooms because the first one had several serious issues: no lighting (literally no light, just a lamp that worked), a burnt shower, a non‑working air‑conditioner, dirty floors and mold on the walls, spider webs, and a strong closed‑room smell. After reporting it to reception, I was attended by the owner, Dona Regina, who, after my request, offered me a room change or a refund. I chose a room change because I didn't have time to find another hotel, but the second room also had major maintenance problems, such as lamps without bulbs or with burnt bulbs, a non‑working bathtub, and an old air‑conditioner that couldn't adjust the temperature. Additionally, the towels and robes were quite worn, just like in the first room. However, the shower worked and the sheets were clean, so I stayed in that room. The outdoor area was abandoned for use (information not mentioned in the reservation), with a barbecue and an onsen extremely dirty, a staircase to the room with leaks, and a broken balcony bench.
