Algret House B&B, a family‑run inn in a quiet residential street, lies just five minutes’ walk from Killarney town centre and ten minutes from Killarney National Park and the train station. Rooms feature polished wooden floors, country‑house décor, satellite TV, tea/coffee facilities, private shower, hairdryer and free toiletries. Guests enjoy free Wi‑Fi, free parking and a bright dining room serving traditional, continental and home‑baked breakfasts.

The hosts are exceptional, friendly and attentive. Homemade breakfast was delicious, and when I left early on my last day before breakfast, they made me a to‑go sandwich and fruit for my train. It’s close to the town centre with a short walk to a quieter neighbourhood. Nothing negative.

The host might be the nicest ever; the house feels cosy and very clean, with good beds and showers. Breakfast is included and the service is exceptional—she'll literally cook you a full Irish breakfast, eggs however you like, and even proper waffles. I would definitely stay again.

The host is exceptional, the room is very comfortable, and breakfast is great. It’s a short walk to Main Street.
