The location was great, but ongoing construction, a broken elevator that wasn’t mentioned at reception, and confusion about how to reach the room made the experience less smooth.

The pool was fine, but I had to write to the General Manager to demand a full refund for our stay in Room 402 because we couldn’t sleep. The room had an adjoining door to the neighboring room that wasn’t disclosed in the booking. At about 2:00 a.m. several guests entered the adjoining room and made loud talking and shouting all night. The room was not properly prepared: no bottled water, only one bathrobe for two guests, a sink that didn’t drain, and a bed that made extremely loud noises whenever I moved or turned over. The hotel facilities did not match the photos; the fountains and water features shown were empty and not operating, which was a major reason we chose the property and expected to enjoy breakfast beside them. At breakfast, only very small disposable plastic forks, knives, and spoons were provided, making them hard to use. All of these problems severely affected the quality and basic purpose of our stay. The accommodation and service did not meet the standard we reasonably expected from a four‑star property. I understand the hotel can’t control every guest’s actions, but the adjoining‑room configuration and lack of a solution made the problem worse. The manager refused any refund or compensation and offered no apology or meaningful remedy. I have photos and videos documenting the adjoining door, defective bed, overnight noise with the time visible, and the condition of the hotel facilities.

“Decent stay, check out issues.”

The room was okay, but the nightly rate felt expensive for what was received. The room size was good, though there was no table to eat at except the desk where I worked. Breakfast was decent and there was shopping and dining within walking distance. About 40 minutes before check‑out, my key card stopped working entirely for my room. The front desk repaired the card but it still didn’t work, so they had to open the room themselves.
