“Out of the world hospitality!”

Hotel Rollingrang in Kalpa is one of those rare spots where the staff, food, views, and overall vibe all come together beautifully—highly recommend it. I’d book it without hesitation. The stay made me want to return to Kalpa. What really sets this place apart is its hospitality, especially from Yash, Divyam, Hrithik, Gaggan, Manik, and Ishwar. The young team running the property were exceptional, warm, humble, incredibly accommodating, and always ready to help with any small request, all with a genuine smile. They went out of their way for us several times, and that spirit of hospitality clearly reaches the top. I had an urgent last‑minute work task, and the owner kindly lent me his personal laptop without hesitation—an act that said a lot about the philosophy and generosity of the place. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, offering breathtaking mountain views and an unobstructed view of Kinnaur Kailash. The property also features a lovely recreation lounge with a pool table, chess, board games, and again spectacular views. The food was outstanding throughout our stay and kept us wanting more. The apple orchards on the property added another layer of charm, making the surroundings even more picturesque. It was a truly memorable stay, made special by the people who run the place.

The location is good and the comfort and view are great if you book a balcony room. The hotel food was good quality and easy to order to the room. Nothing to complain about.

“Excellent food, rooms, and service combined with an amazing, serene, location”

The view and location are outstanding. The room is cozy, spacious, and equipped with strong amenities, including a regular supply of bottled water, a powerful space heater, and bed warmers for cold nights. The food is excellent. The staff are outstanding, patiently solving problems, checking in regularly, and proactively helping when I got sick after riding the bus. This place is perfect for a quiet, reflective stay away from the bustle of many Indian cities. The building has minor power connection issues that are being worked on, occasionally causing brief blackouts, but this didn’t pose any major problems. Because of winter conditions and the need to refill reservoirs daily, water must be turned on and off periodically, which made getting hot water for showers a bit tricky—once the water was turned back on, the heater had to be recharged while it was in heating mode. It wasn’t a major issue, just a few extra tries to figure out the process; a few more written instructions would help.

“A service lead establishment with friendly staff creating a home from home experience.”

The breakfast selection is enticing and changes daily, with special requests catered for. The breakfast was so substantial that I felt a little ungrateful for having to decline some of the courses.
