The view of Estes Lake was great, and we could see a herd of elk right off our deck. The place was clean and spacious; the bathroom was small but had everything needed, plus a microwave, fridge with freezer, dinnerware, unlimited coffee, a wide selection of DVDs, books, games, and plenty of extra blankets, towels, soaps, etc. Outdoors we had games, firepits with wood, and nice gas grills. I’ll definitely come back. The location is perfect—quiet, close to downtown and shopping but still peaceful and natural. We stayed in Meeker #14 and would love any lodge in that row. The only thing that would have made it perfect was a small sink and water in the microwave/fridge area.

The staff was so helpful that we didn’t even need to see them; everything we could possibly need was available at the front office.

The views were fantastic, and it was amazing to see elk wandering around the property, but having them so close to our room was a bit unsettling.
