The property was beautiful in a peaceful village, close to Halifax and Leeds where we had family, and the flat garden let the kids run around while the kitchen was well equipped; everything we needed was there and we’d love to return next time we’re in the area.

The property was really lovely, with a spacious living area and bedrooms that made us feel at home, plus a quiet village, a friendly pub just over the road, and easy access to Calderdale attractions; it did feel a bit tired and could use a little TLC, but it still met our needs and was a comfortable, relaxing stay.

Everything about the place was cute and homely, the kitchen was great, the front room cosy, and the bedrooms and bathrooms were well decorated and felt like home, but the blinds in the front room didn’t work, the back door was hard to lock, and the oven was broken so we had to grill our food; none of that mattered much because the place itself is amazing and cosy.
