Trastevere Station Sweet Rest

Host was friendly and available at all times (in our case via WhatsApp only). Location was close to public transport & local trains. Room had a nice balcony which we did not use. Self-check in was easy to do as well. Part that had negative affect on our stay was the neighbour above who is on some sort of personal vendetta 4D chess game against the apartment owner. Or is in a improv group living above. I could not tell. What I could tell is that show started around 22:00h and lasted until 01:00. No intermission. Show contained furniture dragging (chairs, tables, beds, you name it!), short sprints as well as loud family discussions. Whether you like it or not, you will be part of the show 🎟️ One thing I will say is that we did not contact the host about it. Maybe it would change but reading reviews before mine is I am not sure it would change anything. Other than the "One man show" I would like to point out that big bed is a bit short for my liking. It is not the usual 200cm/6ft7 in length but actually a 190cm/6ft2 which is a problem if you are longer individual like myself than. Shower is also tight and smallish so moving around in it is very limited

The location and transport links, especially the train, were good, and the host was very friendly. Communication was smooth and quick. The shared kitchen and fridge were usable, and the balcony with a clothesline let us dry laundry outside. The noise from the street, especially from the neighbour above, was loud and you could hear every step even into the night. The apartment could have been cleaner; we found tissues under the bed and cigarettes under the chair’s cushion, and the floor was only partially clean.

The hotel offers plenty of comforts and services, but the hairdryer was broken and the shower lacked shower gel.

“Tutto ok”

The room was clean, welcoming and spacious, yet the distance from the city centre was noticeable, especially because the public transport was inefficient.
