Pousada Refugio de Paraty

The venue is very clean and cozy, perfect for adults since the rooms are close together. We stayed only one night and it was excellent—exactly what we wanted. If we visit Paraty again, we’ll definitely come back. The owners are delightful. The only downside was the lack of breakfast; I knew it wouldn’t be offered, but if it had been, it would have been even better. The complimentary coffee they provide is fantastic 👍

The lodge is very cozy, the reception is great, and the location is excellent—under 1 km from the historic center and close to the bus station. Huge thanks to André and the whole family.

“Voltaria a me hospedar, limpo e ótimo atendimento”

The room was fine, but the single hanger was a bit of a hassle – it sits high in front of a fridge, so hanging bags or jackets was awkward. We didn’t use breakfast, so that part was fine.

Everything was spot on – the room was spacious, spotless, and the pillows and AC were great. The minibar even had water, which was a nice touch. The only downside? There’s no place to park your car.

The place was super clean and organized, the room was comfy, and the host was incredibly attentive. It was a wonderful experience – definitely coming back.
