The host was kind, even though he only spoke Spanish and we had to get by. Every morning the bed was made and the sheets were changed. The location is great for walking around Madrid, and the price is good for the city. The bathroom is small, there’s no kettle, and you have to ask the reception to lower the volume on the phone.

The place is central, affordable, and well kept. It would be nice to have a sign to let the staff know whether you want them to enter the room or not.

The hotel is in an excellent spot for touring the city, right next to Puerta del Sol, the Prado and Reina Sofía museums, and the main streets full of bars and restaurants; it’s perfect for walking or taking the metro thanks to the nearby stop. The staff were very kind and helpful. The room was basic but clean and had everything needed. The value for money is excellent given the location.
