The rooms might need a renovation, but nothing catastrophic happened, and the staff were very friendly. I've stayed in many worse hotels in Norway in terms of price and higher ratings.

The hotel sits in a central spot and offers a decent breakfast, plus a restaurant is available. I was able to park my bike safely in the luggage room. Unfortunately, the hotel is in dire need of refurbishment; the room had a strong stale smell that didn't improve even after airing out. The bed was clean, but the floor and bathroom required much better cleaning—yet with the numerous defects like carpet stains and a torn floor in the bathroom, it probably wasn't feasible. The breakfast was good, but the evening restaurant felt more like a fast‑food place. It was fine to escape the rain for a night, but the price is far too high for all the shortcomings.

The location was good. The place was worn out, the service was poor, the breakfast was bad, and the pizza was terrible.
