We arrived late and Kira welcomed us, showed us around her home, pointed out a local restaurant, and helped us settle into our room; in the morning she cooked a tasty breakfast and prepared a gluten‑free meal for the one of us with Celiac disease, making the stay feel perfect. There’s nothing negative to mention—everything surpassed expectations, Kira was fantastic, her daughter was adorable and sweet, and this place is a must‑stay.

The location is great, the property is charming, the room was very comfortable, and noise was minimal throughout. The host was friendly and the breakfast was delicious.

Kira is a fabulous host—friendly, funny, warm, and welcoming, full of useful information and very helpful. We loved learning how she and her husband renovated this 200‑year‑old house and the result is terrific; the house is spotless and our large room was very comfortable. Breakfast was made to order and outstanding, with my husband recommending the full Scottish menu and me enjoying Scottish porridge with whisky and honey. We’re thrilled to have found this lovely B&B and even had dinner at Maltings, a cozy pub a short stroll into town. Highly recommend; nothing negative.
