The place was well located and the host was friendly, but the Japanese-style stairs were steep and narrow, making it hard to move luggage up and down. The bedding varied from bed to bed, and the bathroom had a sink in the bedroom. There wasn’t much space for lunch.

“EXCELLENT CHOICE”

Three adult male cyclists from Seoul finished their trip in Busan and found Inside Busan a bit tricky to locate, but Jiyeon greeted us immediately at check‑in and spoke excellent English. The tiny establishment has five rooms, and the rooms are small yet adequate. The room on the upper level of the breakfast area is a little odd, split over two levels. Inside Busan offers good value with breakfast included—a basic spread of hard‑boiled eggs, toast, jam, peanut butter, fruit juice, coffee, and tea. The breakfast room seats only four people at a time. We secured our bikes to a tree in the garden beside the rooms; a bike could fit in a room, but I appreciated the secure garden spot. Communication with Jiyeon before arrival was excellent—she replied promptly and in clear English, and helped with local information. Busan is a busy city, but Inside Busan is well situated near Chinatown and other amenities. No problems arose, and we were taken care of very well.
