The setting is wonderful, like a period film, and the owner is very kind and helpful, though the kitchen was quite dirty.

A small room in an ancient house, as you’d expect in this village; the bath is convenient despite the tiny size and low ceiling. There’s no English, no breakfast included, and you should know what to expect in such an old village.

The house is amazing. Staying in a 100‑150‑year‑old house feels like stepping back in time, yet everything was spotless and comfortable. The hosts serve truly delicious food—fried meki, homemade banitsa, salads—all outstanding. We never left Boženci. We’re already planning our next visit.
