The staff were very friendly and attentive. The location is beautiful, perched on a hill with a view over the surrounding forests toward Germany. We had a room with a balcony, which turned out to be a large rooftop terrace with two chairs and two lounge beds—wonderful. The room and bathroom were spacious, the beds were good, and the breakfast wasn’t extravagant but had everything and was well replenished. A hotel I’d definitely return to.

The staff were super kind! One staff member gave us tips on where to shop and which route to take. They were very friendly and welcoming. Nothing really disappointed me, except the fact that the fire alarm went off several times, which was a nuisance but beyond their control.

The spot is beautiful, but the room I was given (11) wasn’t what I’d agreed to.

The hotel sits on a mountain summit, making it inconvenient to reach by bike. The staff were very nice. I arrived on my bike in a downpour, and they provided a warm spot for my bike in a banquet hall along with cleaning supplies, which isn’t something you expect. The room furnishings are a bit dated, the bathroom cleanliness was mediocre, not terrible but not pristine either.

The place is nicely situated right in the green, a good base for hikes, yet the rooms are quite small and lack heating, which is a shame when it’s colder.
