“Leuk authentiek hotel op prima locatie nabij gezellig Vieux Bassin met veel restaurants.”

The central location in the historic city centre was convenient. Even though there were two disabled parking spaces directly opposite the hotel, the reception said we couldn’t use them with our international disabled parking card. The police would regularly come by and issue fines, yet they never actually fined a parked car. Those spots were heavily used for loading and unloading for the hotel, and the neighbour’s bus often stayed parked there for a long time.

“Rustic charm close to restaurants.”

The rustic style with modern décor was nice, but a bit of maintenance was needed: two lights didn’t work.

“Déception”

The staff and bedding were good. There was mildew in the shower, the room was located in an open courtyard that forced us to leave the hotel and go to another building, a towel was dirty, and an extinguisher was blocked by a large chair.

The welcome service was friendly. The room was spacious with comfortable beds for good sleep, a modern bathroom with a shower in a bathtub, and a varied breakfast selection. The room was in the back of a side building and the staircase was a steep spiral.
