The mini terrace in front of the room and the ability to swap a parking spot for a room on the spot were handy, as was the shared camping laundry basin, the minishop, the 50 m distance to the beach, the restaurant, and the friendly staff. However, there was trash on the restaurant grounds, broken sports equipment, a neglected environment, begging cats, sharp cobblestones, and no plugs for the basin; the long beach and the road outside the campsite were littered with rubbish, which is apparently common in much of northern Greece.

“Boek niet de caravan”

After complaining, we were told that the caravan we had booked was dirty but the room was fine. We had booked a caravan and it was terrible, filthy, and the windows wouldn’t open; they really can’t rent those out anymore.

“On the whole a good place but it needs a little maintenance. The location is the winner.”

The location is fantastic, the beach superb with calm clear water and nice sand. I expected to be in the camping beside the trees, but I ended up in a room in an extension of the reception building, so it felt like being somewhere before the camping.
