“A real dream in paradise”

The stay was absolutely flawless; Sam the owner was available 24/7, even at night, and handled everything for us. The place sits just 10 meters from the sea, and there was no noise—only the soothing sound of waves. Breakfast was amazing, offering six different options, though we could only stay four nights, which felt too short. Navin, Sam’s helper, carried our luggage up the steep second‑floor stairs that felt like a Mexican pyramid. There are no negatives to mention.

Sam and his team were incredibly attentive and accommodating at every moment. Sam personally picked us up from the airport and took us on a tour. He’s always ready to help and offers solid advice. The large, clean room has a pleasant bathroom, fast Wi‑Fi and a quiet yet effective air‑conditioner. The beds are big, very comfortable, and come with a good mosquito net (we didn’t see a single bug in four days). The breakfast—whether European or local (highly recommended)—is excellent. It’s served right on the front‑row beach—simply dreamy! In the on‑site restaurant you can also order great fish plates for lunch or dinner; a definite must‑try! Thanks to Sam, Navin and the cooks for a wonderful stay. Nothing to complain about.

What an amazing place! The room is large, with fresh sheets and towels, a small kitchen, kettle, fridge, tea, coffee, sugar, and dishes. The air‑conditioner sits away from the bed, so you can sleep peacefully without fearing a chill. The panoramic windows and balcony offer a superb ocean view. No flies or mosquitoes, probably thanks to the wind. A great spot for swimming, especially off‑season. No waves, so it’s perfect for little kids. Dining is excellent at the Corsl Reef Seafood restaurant—fresh fish and shellfish prepared to your liking. We ordered fish and squid, both tender and tasty. Tables sit right on the ocean shore. Candlelit dinner with the sound of the surf—what could be more romantic! We’ll definitely come back.

The room is fabulous—spacious and comfortable, with a large bathtub, a private kitchen, air‑conditioning, and a balcony overlooking the ocean. A small note: the staircase is steep, so people with lower‑limb joint issues should be careful. It’s the only room on the floor, so no one disturbs you with other guests’ screams or sounds. On the first floor is a café owned by the guesthouse proprietor. The food is amazing, very tasty, with huge portions; the Sri Lankan style service is very fast. The guesthouse is protected by a coral reef, so the ocean is calm with no waves—great for swimming with kids. For thrill‑seekers, about 200 meters away you can jump onto ocean waves. Nearby is a wide public beach strip with several cafés, shops, and Ayurvedic massage centers. We recommend this guesthouse. The staff and the owner, Sam, are always on hand, can solve any issue, and are friendly and pleasant. The waiters are great, quick, and delicious.
