The room was very clean and well equipped, and the hotel was close to the port and the beach. We had planned to meet our son who was arriving by boat from France, but he was not allowed to come into the room or spend time on the balcony even after explaining that I had a broken foot and found it difficult to walk; apparently the rule is applied strictly. The breakfast was not suitable for a diabetic— no whole‑grain bread and too many sweet cakes— and overall it was not a highlight of the hotel.

The room was very well arranged, the bed comfortable with good quality pillows, and the view of the port and sea from the balcony was lovely for evening sitting before bed. The staff went out of their way to meet my wishes and were very pleasant and smiling. The only downside was the breakfast: there were no croissants after 9 h.

The location was right on the sea, close to the town, and the hotel restaurant offered a wide range of dishes (we had half‑board booked) with very friendly staff. We didn’t like the town at all, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. Parking was a bit cumbersome.

The breakfast was varied and the dining room was superb! The welcome, location, and the hotel itself were great, and the nearby shops were convenient. Nothing else to note.
