“Poor”

I recently stayed at a hotel that had a lot of potential, but unfortunately, it fell short in many areas. The owners were incredibly kind and friendly, but the room wasn't ready when I arrived late in the evening, and the smell of humidity was overwhelming. The bathroom was also dirty and smelly, and the property's location was not as close to the rock as I had been led to believe. To get there, I had to take a tuk tuk, and to make matters worse, the wifi wasn't working at all.

The owners of this hotel were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The location of the accommodation was perfect. However, there was a strong odor in the bathroom, which was a bit of a problem.

“Infernal”

Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was a disaster from start to finish. The location was nowhere near what was described, and the room with a lake view didn't exist as there was no lake nearby. The room was filthy, and the bathroom was disgusting. We paid in advance, but as soon as we saw the room, we left. The photos were completely misleading.

We had a great experience at this hotel, with its excellent location, cozy room, delicious breakfast, and friendly owner. He provided us with valuable information, helped us find transportation, and explained the bus system. He was very welcoming and helpful, and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I was thoroughly charmed by Ruwan, the owner, who made me feel like I was staying with a Sri Lankan family. His warm welcome, friendly demeanor, and professionalism made my stay truly special. I also adored the dogs on the property - they were absolutely adorable! Unfortunately, my stay was not without its issues, and I'm not sure if I would recommend it at this time.
