“Una bella scoperta alloggio e città . Quando tornerò a Lecce cercherò sicuramente lo stesso alloggio”

The owner was friendly and helpful, the property and room were clean, spacious, and well furnished with all essential comforts, the bed was comfortable, and the location was strategic for walking around the city.

Nothing about breakfast.

“Pesima, mi peor estadía en Booking en 20 años”

The property looked nice. Upon arrival you don’t know where it is. The booking said parking was included, but the owner said otherwise and you had to pay €10 per day. It’s like a B&B and they send you to a café where you can get coffee and a croissant. If you’re gluten‑free or don’t drink coffee you have to pay for breakfast. Booking can’t publish it as B&B. The internet was intermittent; it didn’t work for a while. You have to climb stairs. The room wasn’t cleaned. If you wanted it cleaned you had to pay extra. Luckily I read that comment. There was no hygiene item in the bathroom except hand soap. The coffee machine didn’t work; we reported it and now they want to charge for repairs when we never used it. The service was really bad.

The arrival instructions were unclear, no visible sign and it was very hard to find the place. We booked with a parking spot, but when we arrived the owner said it was a booking error and we had to pay €30 for parking. Breakfast was not listed as a café 100 m away where only coffee and a croissant were offered; no fruit, yogurt, etc., and you couldn’t swap coffee for a cappuccino. It was disappointing because the room itself was excellent.

“Comfortabele accommodatie aan de rand van het historische centrum”

I found a comfortable place on the edge of the historic center, but the host was absent and there were no instructions.
