I liked how the staff were always friendly and encouraged socializing with games and karaoke, the beds were comfy, and I appreciated the long curtains for extra privacy in my bed. However, having the bathroom outside meant mosquitoes were a problem; as soon as I turned on the light in the toilet there were at least six mosquitoes flying around, making it inconvenient to protect myself from bites while using the toilet or drying off after a shower. I know personal spray can help, but seeing them fly around right when I enter is annoying. The other issue, which isn’t the hostel’s fault, was that the lane leading to the hostel had big puddles during my stay, and I slipped and cut my foot open walking around them. Maybe the surrounding businesses could work together to fix that.

“Best place to stay in Moalboal”

The location is good, everything is super clean, the bathrooms are amazing, and the staff are excellent—they even prepared a family Philippine meal for us. Just amazing, 10/10 on everything, but I can’t stop thinking about one thing.
