I was impressed by the surroundings and the island walking routes, the room was very comfortable with a beautiful balcony view. The staff were extremely friendly and professional. The pool and wellness area offered complete relaxation, the Zen rooms with Lectus water beds, and breakfast and dinner were delightful with a rich and high‑quality selection. Everything ran smoothly, from car parking, the shuttle, to the boat ride to the island and back. The stay was outstanding.

The location is great, the surroundings are beautiful and mostly natural, and all the hotel’s offerings provide a perfect base for a relaxed holiday far from crowds and shopping. If you feel like it afterward, you can easily hop on the boat at every full hour, without extra cost, and head to the mainland to enjoy Rovinj. The lift to the dining room was out of order all week; that didn’t bother us, but it might not be ideal for families with strollers. Both of us also wished the very rich and high‑quality buffets had more soup varieties (and toppings) and more cheese options, and a sugar‑free dessert option—perhaps yogurt‑based—would have been a nice addition. Otherwise, everything was truly PERFECT.

“Great hotel and location”

The hotel is fantastic, with a superb location, excellent food, and spacious, clean rooms—definitely coming back.

The location and outdoor area were dreamy, and the staff were very helpful and polite. The fact that Hitel can only be reached by ferry (15 min) gives it its own charm; the hotel has its own dive base on the island – that was the main reason for us. The walking route around the two islands is beautiful. The rooms (we had the best category, Executive Suite) were just average – they were already worn out, the minibar was not stocked even though it was advertised. The in‑house restaurant resembled a huge cafeteria, and unfortunately none of the other restaurants were open at the time.
