The house was clean, large and comfortable, with great value for money. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was big, and the rooms were spacious. The terrace was huge and very nice. If there are parties at the restaurant below, it can become hard to sleep. The fridge doesn’t work.

“no soundproofing available”

The location on the road was good and the prices were affordable. When I asked about a pet surcharge, I was told it wasn’t needed. The soundproofing was basically non‑existent and we were unlucky to have a wedding downstairs; a large part of the night was very loud from the staff laughing under the window, doors slamming, and plumbing noises, making it impossible to sleep, which was very unpleasant for a place meant for travellers to rest.

We were handed a bottle of chilled white wine that we really enjoyed, but the accommodation sits right next to a church and we stayed from Saturday to Sunday, so the bell ringing on the tower kept us up.

Rooms were not available; the property was sold out even though it had been confirmed and paid for upfront, which was a very disappointing experience.

The rooms are brand‑new with all the conveniences, and the host is friendly, with no complaints.
