Thanks to the hosts for letting me check in early. The place is in a charming old town, easy to find parking, and the walk up to the historic area isn’t too hard. Around the block are shops and cafés (except for restaurants in the old town), and nearby on the side street is a culinary store where you can eat well and cheaply at Sapori in Corso. The room was clean. The reservation listed a different address, so I assume a different room was assigned. The stairs were very steep, which could be a problem. Breakfast was like in Sicily, at a nearby café, with coffee and a croissant.

The property is beautiful and welcoming, with a spacious, clean room and very comfortable beds. There was even a walk‑in wardrobe, plenty of soft towels, and a variety of shampoos. The welcome was cordial, the hosts were kind and helpful. The walk is a gem!
