The design has a unique, quirky Versailles influence, and the room and bathroom are spacious with a nice small pool area. There were no blackout curtains and the external lighting around the pool was late. The pillows were lumpy, the air conditioning was old and loud. Breakfast wasn’t available, and it was a long walk to the centre.

The location was good, but the hotel looked very neglected; walking around you saw boxes, sacks, construction tools, even a broken porcelain horse in a dry fountain. The staff were absent and the place felt lifeless. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The location was perfect, walkable to everything you’d want to do in the city, and the hotel offered an airport shuttle that accommodated our 4:00 am pick‑up time; the room was a great size and we received complimentary water. We felt a bit lonely at times because we never saw other people during our stay, but that also meant it was quiet, and we felt safe the entire time.

It isn’t a five‑star property at all; the staff disappeared around 7 pm and there was no room service or anything like that, which feels more like a two‑star place.
