The location was fantastic, close to the university and libraries, and the service was excellent. I could arrange a late check‑in after discussion. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The only thing missing was a kettle. The nights were quiet.

The place sits right on Corso Umberto, halfway between the main station and Castel Nuovo, Medina, and the Spanish Quarter—perfectly convenient and clean. The staff were helpful and courteous.

The only real plus was the very convenient location. Unfortunately the experience wasn’t great. The room felt damp, and we had to climb three steep staircases with large luggage, which was quite uncomfortable. There was only one roll of toilet paper and no extra supply. In the shower we found a small bug coming out of the drain, and the water pressure was erratic—sometimes too weak, sometimes too strong, splashing everywhere.

It’s on the third floor with no elevator, so moving luggage was a bit of a hassle.
